Revenge is best served cold novel Chapter 1426

Before Sophie could even say "male masseur," she caught the look on Colby's face and immediately thought of Odie.

"Odie! Thornton!"

At that same moment—

"Achoo—!"

Odie jolted up from the couch with a sneeze just as Jonah walked in with a cup of ginger tea. Seeing Odie's grumpy expression, Jonah asked, "Boss, do you think you should see a doctor? You look like you've got a fever."

"See a doctor for a fever? Seriously?"

Odie leaned back on the couch, clearly impatient. "Just leave the tea and scram. I need some shut-eye."

"Sure thing, boss."

Jonah placed the ginger tea on the table.

Just then, Odie's phone went off.

Irritated, Odie answered, "Yeah?"

"Odie, are you doing this on purpose?"

"What? You’re not enjoying it? It’s our hottest service right now."

Odie lounged back on the couch, adding, "If that's it, I'm hanging up. Stop bugging me."

With that, he ended the call.

But almost immediately, the phone rang again.

Odie picked it up with a sigh, "Hello! I told you, don't bother me unless it's important!"

"Mr. Odie, long time no see."

The voice on the other end was deep and slightly eerie.

Odie's eyes widened, and a chill ran down his spine.

How could this be...

Joseph was supposed to be dead.

Odie pulled the phone away slightly, noticing it was an unknown number.
