She did not want to become someone who was missing an organ, regardless of whether her body needed it or not! Hence, she proposed to get Xavia to donate her kidney instead.
Her parents thought that the idea was feasible, so they asked Jenna to find Xavia and bond with her beforehand in hopes that she would be willing to do so in the future.
To her surprise, that old hag overheard her phone conversation on the mountain and said that she would tell Xavia about it and forbid her to go to Darlsbury.
In a fit of rage, she had pushed the old woman off the mountain...
Jenna shook the thought off and glared at Xavia. “What evidence do you have? Don’t try to kick me when I’m down and shift the blame onto me!”
Xavia sneered, “You don’t have to admit or deny it; Grandma told me herself after she woke up. It’s fine though—the fact that you bribed the doctor is already enough to incriminate you. Jenna Lockhart, I’ll send you to jail!”
Jail?!
Jenna jerked back in shock, then grabbed Xavia’s shoulders. “What do you mean?! You can’t do that!”
“Why can’t I?” Xavia looked at her firmly. “In the past, I gave way to you and tolerated your bullying for the sake of sisterhood, but you really shouldn’t have harmed the person I care about the most. I won’t show you any mercy now—you're definitely going to jail! Meanwhile, I will be happy and lovey-dovey with Young Master Burton.”
After Xavia finished speaking, she shoved Jenna harshly and walked towards the villa.
Jenna fell to her knees in the rain, crying and screaming in frustration. "Xavia Lockhart, you b*tch! How can you do this to me?!"
Xavia, however, did not feel the least bit satisfied watching Jenna fall apart. She wished that all of it had never happened in the first place. She wished her grandmother was still alive, and that Yulia was not in the intensive care unit...
“Go upstairs and take a hot shower before you change your clothes,” a deep voice rumbled as Zivon appeared in the doorway.
Zivon walked up to Xavia and picked her up in a bridal carry. He felt warm and firm against her.
