Suddenly, Xavia felt someone approaching. Her body trembled and she opened her eyes.

In that instant, Zivon came to his senses. He straightened his back and stared down at her condescendingly. “Is there no bed for you to sleep on in such a big villa?”

In the past, he had wished dearly that she could sleep in his bed, but now, he even despised her for sleeping in the doorway.

Xavia felt a stabbing pain in her heart as she explained, “I accidentally fell asleep last night, I didn’t do it on purpose.”

As she spoke, she adjusted her posture, about to get up. However, as soon as she stood up, her legs suddenly ached after squatting all night long, causing her to fall forward unexpectedly. “Argh!”

Zivon was quick, and instinctively caught her in his arms. He stared at her intently. “Sore legs?”

Xavia was about to nod, but before she could, the man sneered, “Do you intend to use this as an excuse? Don't you think that’s too pathetic?”

Xavia was stunned. So he was not concerned about her at all… he just wanted to humiliate her!

Xavia was exasperated and anxious as she pushed him away. “Yes, I’m pathetic. You are so superior that I don’t even deserve to stand in front of you, Young Master Burton. I think that you and your wife will lose your appetites if your breakfast is made by someone like me. Let’s not waste my efforts—if you don't want me to show up in front of your wife, tell her what you said last night and return my phone. Otherwise, I won’t stay silent!”

Her clear voice and raised chin was proof of how angry she was.

Zivon had never had a woman yell at him so boldly; Xavia was definitely the first. Furthermore, she had done it more than once.

He was unfazed by her anger, and instead, started to smirk. “Oh? Do you intend to make a scene? I’m looking forward to it; I hope you won’t disappoint me.”

Xavia was speechless as she watched the man walk away. ‘Who is he? Doesn’t he have a good relationship with Jenna? Why is he not afraid that I will tell Jenna about this? Or maybe... neither Jenna nor I am worthy in his eyes. I’m just a joke to him!’
