Why was he still interested in her…? Hadn’t she left Darlsbury after dumping him…? That aside, was he being absent-minded earlier because of her?! It had been ages since they broke up! Had he not let go of her yet…?!

Not daring to question Zivon’s motives, Nathan simply replied with a simple, “…Very well.”

It was around ten minutes later when he returned and reported, “From what I’ve gathered, she’s remained undetected ever since she returned to S City… I’m assuming that she’s returned to her hometown and I also have a feeling that she’s deliberately trying to hide her whereabouts…”

‘She’s doing it on purpose?’ Zivon thought to himself, feeling puzzled. Wondering what Xavia was up to, Zivon then said, “…Try seeing if she’s in Darlsbury.”

…What? But why would she be here? Though he was baffled by Zivon’s sudden leap in logic, Nathan knew better than to question the young master.

With that, he did as Zivon told… and shortly after, he returned with an astonished look on his face as he exclaimed, “Y-Young Master Burton! Apparently, Miss Lockhart arrived in Darlsbury about ten days ago…! Not only that, but she’s been quite busy! From what I’ve found, she’s been to a hospital’s Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, the City Hall, a fundraising gala, and even a clubhouse for socialites!”

“She’s currently staying at Clarion Hotel, and she doesn’t seem to be active at the moment… Still, what could she be doing here…? Also, I think she’s being secretive about her identity as well!” concluded Nathan, prompting Zivon’s eyes to darken.

‘The City Hall, a fundraising gala, and a clubhouse for socialites…? Those three places are related to Jenna. Just what is she planning…?’ Zivon thought to himself…

It was a while later when Zivon ordered, “…Keep an eye on her, and keep me posted.”

“Very well, Young Master Burton,” replied Nathan before leaving his office. Still… How puzzling! Hadn’t the young master completely severed ties with Xavia? Why was he suddenly concerned about her again? Also, it was still a mystery why Xavia had returned in the first place!

His train of thought was cut short when he suddenly heard a familiar voice ask, “There won’t be any changes to Young Master Burton’s itinerary tonight, right, Mr. Miller?”

Turning around, Nathan was greeted by the sight of the beautiful and gentle Jenna.

Though he used to dislike this woman, after seeing how horrendous Xavia had been, he now realized that at the very least, Jenna was a respectful and obedient wife, and it was highly unlikely that she’d make Zivon upset on purpose.
