Pregnant and Favored: See You in the Morning, Young Master novel Chapter 939

Either way, the crowd was so massive that the entire road leading to the City Hall was pretty much impassable! By this point, Dolly—who was still pushing Xavia’s wheelchair—couldn’t help but worriedly exclaim, “There’s no way we’ll be able to get in there…!”

Zivon had stated that he’d register his marriage certificate with Jenna in the morning… and it was now already ten. If they didn’t get in quick, then it’d truly be game over…!

Even before Dolly had said that, Xavia was already feeling rather terrible. After all, she knew that she didn’t really have the right to beg for forgiveness and ask him to stay… Even so, she needed to try. She truly regretted how she had done things, and she wanted to at least try to make things right.

It was at that moment when Xavia suddenly saw a familiar person through the corner of her eyes… and it didn’t take long for her eyes to widen as she whispered, “Dolly. Dolly, quick…! Push me there…!”

Turning to look in the direction that Xavia was pointing at, Dolly soon saw who Xavia had seen. As Dolly hurriedly began pushing Xavia toward the prestigious-looking person walking away from them, Xavia was prompted to yell, “C-Chase…!”

Upon hearing that familiar voice, he turned around… and the second he saw Xavia, his gaze turned icy as he asked, “What are you doing here?”

From what he remembered, Zivon had stated that she had left the city sometime back, and that the two no longer had anything to do with each other.

Regardless, Xavia anxiously replied, “I-I’m here to look for Young Master Burton since he blacklisted my number! Do you know where he is, Chace? Could you please take me to him…?”

When he heard that, Chace gave an icy sneer as he walked up to the woman before scoffing, “Were you not the one who decided to leave him? Since that’s the case, what right do you have to return to his side? Do you think he’s some toy that you can just pick up and toss whenever you want?”
