Instantly infuriated after hearing that, Dolly grumbled, “My god! I really can’t tell why you’re so insistent on helping that b*tch! Had you not suppressed that news regarding her and Keith, I’m sure she would’ve been dead by now, and none of this would’ve happened! Seriously… I can see why Young Master Burton is so angry with you now!”

All Xavia could smile bitterly in response. She really didn’t want to do this, but ever since she made that mistake four years ago, she had constantly found herself under Jenna’s control… Sadly, there was no next time.

Shaking the thought off, Xavia then said, “Don’t worry, once Grandma wakes up, we’ll return to S City and never contact Jenna again… If she still dares to look for trouble with us then, I’ll definitely not let her off easily.”

That night, the two huddled together on a tiny hospital bed… and it was early the next morning when a nurse came over and said, “Your grandmother’s awake, Miss Lockhart.”
