Shaking the thought off, Xavia then replied, “…What are you even talking about, Dolly? Either way, if there’s nothing else, I’m hanging up.”

Once the call was over, Xavia headed to the bathroom to have her face washed. She, for one, didn’t have the mind or heart to be thinking about all this at the moment… After all, she still didn’t know how she was going to solve her grandmother’s affair yet…

Xavia’s train of thought was cut short when her message notification tone suddenly rang. Drying her hands, she quickly realized that it was a message from Jenna.

‘Listen to these, Xavia,’ texted Jenna… and shortly after, a few voice recordings were sent over. This prompted Xavia to snort. Xavia really wanted to tell Jenna that she wouldn’t believe any of the bullsh*t she sent her… though in the end, she refrained.

After sighing, Xavia then tapped on the first voice recording… but to her surprise, it turned out that everything that Jenna had sent was related to her grandmother.

‘I’ll transfer half of the Talton Group’s shares to you as long as you agree to save Xavia’s grandmother.’

‘Have you gone mad, Chairman Talton? Why would you go to such extremes for Xavia?’
