However, instead of outing her, he gently wiped away any remaining tears before saying, “…Don’t think too much about it… I’m sure everything’s fine… Either way, I’ll be sending you back now, so be sure to rest well tonight…”

With that said, Zivon then sent Xavia home to safety… and upon returning to the old mansion, he fished his cell phone out before sending Nathan a text that stated, ‘I want you to find out what Xavia spent her time doing today. Report back to me as soon as possible.’

Upon receiving the message, Nathan couldn’t help but feel like he had just been placed in a tough spot… Couldn’t he at least have the time to relax in the dead of night…? Though those were his thoughts, Nathan simply sighed before quickly beginning to investigate… and didn’t take long for him to get results.

Once his call with Zivon connected, Nathan immediately reported, “Miss Lockhart has apparently gone to the hospital today to visit her grandmother who’s been ill for several days now… From what I’ve gathered, the doctor has given her a treatment plan, and he also stated that her grandmother needs a kidney, and some bone marrow transplants as soon as possible…”

“Following that, Miss Lockhart looked for Chairman Talton’s help, resulting in him flying over to S City the second he could… I’m assuming that once he arrived, they spent their time discussing how she could save her grandmother… But that aside, after that discussion, Miss Lockhart headed straight for home… I should mention, however, that the Young Mistress was present at the hospital too at the time…”

In the end, Zivon couldn’t help but furrow his brows. She had looked for Stefan for help regarding such a big matter instead of him…? Holding his anger back, Zivon then asked, “…What was Jenna over there? Is she orchestrating something again?”

In response, Nathan respectfully replied, “The Young Mistress-”

“Change the way you address her,” interrupted Zivon in an icy tone.
