In a way, Xavia felt like she had just been struck by lightning. To think that she had to hear such terrible news on the same day she learned that her grandmother was still alive…! Understandably depressed, Xavia then left the office…
However, it wasn’t long after before Jenna walked up to her before saying, “You know, there’s a way for you to get me to save her…”
Naturally, this stunned Xavia. After all, given their current relationship, she was pretty sure that getting Jenna’s help was near impossible. Either way, since Jenna was offering, Xavia quickly walked up to her before begging, “Y-you’re willing to save Grandma…?! What are your terms?! I’m willing to do anything…!”
Smirking in response, Jenna then replied, “Really…? Including breaking up with Zivon?”
Despite how casually she had said that, the impact felt like Xavia had just been struck by a massive hammer. Come to think of it, Xavia should’ve seen this coming… After all, all Jenna ever wanted was Zivon. That aside…
After a long pause, Xavia was prompted to say, “…You can’t actually save her, can you? I’m sure you just bribed the doctor to say all that!”
Widening her eyes in fury, Jenna sneered before retorting, “Xavia, do you honestly think I’d joke about something like this? That aside, you shouldn’t take the Dolston Hospital lightly. In case you weren’t aware, the person staying next to your grandmother is the former President’s wife! Had I not begged her to let your grandmother in, do you really think she’d still be alive today?”
“Not showing your appreciation is one thing, but insulting me as well? Fine, then! You can choose not to believe me, but don’t cry once I offer her a white chrysanthemum in a week’s time!” concluded the heartless woman as she walked off, leaving the pale-faced Xavia behind.
Thinking back, though Jenna was no stranger to playing dirty tricks, she also made sure to always threaten Xavia with things that were important to her… In other words, all that the doctor had said was true…!
