Xavia made sure to carefully explain herself since she didn’t want him to get angered. Truth be told, however, the woman was quite pitiful.
After all, now that she was moving out from this place, Xavia knew that either Jenna or the Lockharts would start coming after her head! With that in mind, she really needed either a well-hidden shelter, or someplace that the two parties wouldn’t be able to easily find her… and after thinking for a long while, Xavia ended up considering that house.
As far as she knew, nobody dared to even enter that place since they all associated that emptied house with a deceased woman… Regardless, while Xavia’s goal was to find a place to stay in, she had another reason for choosing that place.
Essentially, she was hoping to help Zivon rekindle his ability to love, particularly by reminding him of the joy he had in the past with that woman. In the end, however, it all depended on whether Zivon agreed to let her have the house…
Speaking of Zivon, he currently had a poker face on, and nobody was really able to tell what he was thinking of…
Just as Xavia was thinking that he wouldn’t agree, Zivon finally said, “…Alright. I’ll get Nathan to prepare some supplies for you to move in.”
Naturally, Xavia was instantly delighted! While she had only considered asking him about the house since she really needed a place to stay, she never thought she’d actually get him to agree just like that!
He truly had a soft spot for her… and in a way, Zivon almost felt like a father figure since he kept spoiling her… One who provided her with the fatherly love that she had never been able to properly experience…
Caught up in the moment, the joyous woman couldn’t help but exclaim, “Thanks, Daddy…!”
Upon hearing that, the other three at the table instantly stared wide-eyed at her. What… had she just addressed him by…?!
