In response, Keith—who had only eaten some vegetables since he wasn’t much of a hot pot eater—replied, “I honestly don’t think there’s a need for us to cause a huge scene over our break up. After all, that will only arouse everyone’s curiosity about the reason behind our break up.”

“With that said, we should each just upload a post, visible only to our friends, about our break up. That way, when we get into new relationships in the future, everyone will think that we’re cheating on each other. We can use that moment to post screenshots of our break up posts so that everyone will learn that we peacefully broke up some time ago.”

“That way, everyone will surely focus on our new relationship, and they won’t discuss the reason for our break up too much. That’s the best I can think of at the moment… What do you think?” concluded Keith.

Xavia, for one, felt that this was a rather safe method to end things. As Keith had said, if they were to suddenly break up, then there was a high chance that the public would find out about her relationship with Zivon and create a big mess out of it…

With that, Xavia nodded in agreement before getting her phone out and saying, “I like that idea. I’ll just say something along the lines of, ‘Only by parting can we extend our wings and fly even further…’ and in response, you can post, ‘We may have parted, but happiness we’ll still find.’”

“Oh? How romantic,” replied Keith with a subtle smile as he got his phone and typed just that…

As they both sent their messages, Xavia made sure that her post was visible to Zivon as well… and following that, she turned to face Keith while saying, “While there have been moments of unhappiness between us, you still saved me from prison, and you’ve also cared a lot for me… I may not have done a good job throughout our time together, but I truly hope that you’ll be happy and healthy once I’m gone…”

“Now let’s part without any hard feelings… May we both try our hardest and obtain the happy futures we want!” declared Xavia as she raised her soda glass.

Upon hearing that, Keith’s eyes turned rather deep as he clinked his glass against hers and replied, “Indeed… I’ll work hard for the happiness that I want.”

After drinking their farewell drinks, Keith proposed to send Xavia back. Xavia, however, refused with a smile… and after Keith had left, she took her phone out before sending a message to Zivon, stating, ‘I’m done. Where are you?’
