“That led me to wonder whether those from Darlsbury had similar features. In the end, I decided to let both parties meet up… and I have to say, you two truly look identical! Speaking of which, I believe your last name was Lockhart as well, correct?” concluded Zaui as he turned to look at Xavia.

Quickly snapping out of it, Xavia then replied, “Y-yes… I’m… Mrs. Burton’s twin sister…”

“…Hmm? Is that really true? I guess this meeting must’ve been destined, then! It’s my first time meeting twins, and both of you are really amazing! One is developing a filming career whereas the other is opening up a new path that will most probably lead to a promising future! Regardless, I guess I no longer have to introduce Chairman Burton and Mrs. Burton to you then, right, Miss Lockhart?” said Zaui with a grin.

Hoping to lighten the mood, Zaui then added, “Still, it’s a wonder how Chairman Burton is able to tell you two apart, am I right?”

While he meant well, his joke instantly caused the atmosphere to grow even heavier. After all, hadn’t Zivon mistaken Xavia for Jenna that night four years ago? The thought of it instantly caused the guilty Jenna and Xavia’s hearts to tense up.

Zivon himself was well aware that he had mistaken Xavia for the wrong person back when they first met. With that, his gaze momentarily deepened as he replied in an indifferent tone, “It happened once, back when I first met her. However, it never happened again. After all, at the end of the day, everyone has their differences.”
