“Thank you very much for helping us to deal with the matter and sending us here today.”

Just after she was done speaking, her cell phone rang. It was a phone call from Stefan.

“Hello, Chairman Talton? What’s up? Oh…okay, I have some free time. I’m here at the police station. Mm…”

After answering the call, Xavia looked at Zivon. “Young Master, I’m sorry to trouble you for the whole afternoon. We won’t continue bothering you anymore. You can go ahead with your plans now. Chairman Talton said that he’s looking for me for something. I’ll be taking his car home.”

The gentle look that Zivon had on his face as he stared at her delicate and small face instantly turned dark and gloomy.

She had just been thanking him one second ago and in the next second, she already made an appointment to meet with another man. Was this her so-called grateful attitude? She was just an ungrateful woman who was casting her benefactor aside after making use of him!

She wasn’t just special; she was especially good at making him angry!

He said, “When Maison left in the morning, I told him that you’ll pick him up with me in the afternoon. Turn down Stefan Talton’s appointment.”

It was a command.

Xavia frowned. She had just promised him, but she would have to turn him down in the blink of an eye? That wasn’t a good idea, was it? But when she saw the deep expression on Zivon’s face and thought of Maison, she nodded and called Stefan.

“Chairman Talton, I’m so sorry but there is something that I have to do now and I can’t get away. I’ll see if I have time to go over and find you later.”

“You won’t be free later. The place that Maison went to is far away,” A cold and indifferent voice sounded.

Xavia was speechless. Was this person certain that he wasn’t deliberately making things difficult for her?

She could only bite the bullet and arrange for the appointment with Stefan to be changed to another day instead.

Zivon was only satisfied at this time. He turned around and stepped into the afterglow of the sunset as he strode out.
