Pregnant and Favored: See You in the Morning, Young Master novel Chapter 733

Regardless, after taking in a deep breath, Xavia then placed the medicine aside and began transferring her luggage over…

Fast forward to dinnertime, everyone was quickly greeted to the sight of a feast of local specialty dishes. Jenna herself was quick to act all friendly and filial by serving dish after dish to Ava.

This, of course, pleased Ava, and soon enough, the smiling old woman was prompted to say, “You know what? I’m handing you that green area once we return to the city, Jenna. You can do as you please with it.”

The green area was a plot of land that Ava’s natal family had left for her. It was located in the center of Darlsbury, and it was the only piece of land that hadn’t been developed yet. Though the area was currently used as a park, it was still a privileged location and was worth a lot of money.

With that in mind, almost everyone at the table found themselves scrunching their faces. Though they wanted to protest against Lady Burton’s decision, they all remembered how angry Lady Burton had gotten when they went against Jenna in the past. Due to that, none of them dared to make the first move, and the atmosphere grew increasingly awry…

Zivon himself hadn’t expected that Ava would suddenly decide to hand Jenna that plot of land.

In a sense, Jenna really was a qualified wife. After all, that capable woman knew how to please her elders. That aside, Jenna wasn’t willful, nor did she cause others any trouble. With all that in mind, Zivon knew that it was going to be unlikely that he’d be able to divorce Jenna with Ava still around.

However… from the moment one’s thoughts were expressed, they’d naturally get stronger and stronger. Besides, it wasn’t as though he hadn’t given much thought before asking for the divorce.

Whatever the case was, Zivon was prompted to say, “There’s really no need for that, Grandma.”

As Jenna’s face tensed up, Ava turned to look at Zivon before asking in a surprised tone, “…I beg your pardon? It’s mine to give, and I’m giving it to my granddaughter-in-law. You have no right to stop me.”

“I’m aware, but what I meant was we’re all here to have a vacation, so we should leave such matters aside for now. Since the topic of the green area has been brought up, however, I have a suggestion for everyone in our family. Essentially, we should all come up with proposals on what should be done to that plot of land once we get back. Following that, just find a proposal that pleases you most and give the land to them, Grandma.”

Zivon, for one, was confident that even if everyone were to come up with a proposal, he’d still have a greater chance of winning. The only reason he came up with that suggestion was so that the others would be grateful to him. That aside, they’d also be more satisfied with their future losses.
