To her surprise, several people entered the ward at noon! One of them was an anxious Helen who immediately rushed over to Keith’s bedside while exclaiming, “My goodness! All bandaged like that… My poor, poor child…!”

Dylan then walked over before adding, “How could you be this careless…? Don’t you know how to protect yourself…?”

Aside from those two, Even Zivon and Jenna were here! Why had they all come…? Not wanting to look at Zivon, she then turned to face Helen while saying, “Young Master Keith is still resting, so please don’t disturb him…”

“How dare you say that…?! It’s because of you that he’s in this state! Just so you know, I’m aware that you were born during an inauspicious time! To think that your bad luck would actually get Keith in trouble…! Get out of my sight! Also, know that if anything bad happens to my child, I won’t let you off that easily…!” growled Helen as she glared at Xavia.

Though Xavia understood Helen’s rage as a mother, she couldn’t help but feel upset by Helen’s condescending accusations. Either way, just as Xavia was about to leave, a weak voice called out, “…Xavia…”

Upon hearing that, she quickly turned around again… and realized that Keith had awoken! Quickly running to his side, she then exclaimed, “Y-Young Master Keith…! You’re awake? How are you feeling? Should I call a doctor…?”

Looking at how concerned she looked, Keith couldn’t help but smile as he replied, “I’m fine… As long as you’re safe, this small injury is nothing to me…”

His words caused a lump to form in her throat. From the moment her identity was revealed, almost everyone had loathed her. In fact, she remembered starting off hating Keith as well. To think that in the end, he would save her not once, but twice…
