…What the hell? Why was he saying all this? And what did he mean that Zayne’s character wasn’t good?! Slightly irked, Xavia quickly replied, “Compared to Zivon, Young Master Keith is a saint.”

Raising a slight brow when he heard that, Zayne then began unraveling the bandages on her arm while saying, “I simply said that Young Master Keith’s character wasn’t all that good. I never mentioned a thing about Zivon…”

His statement instantly startled her. She had somehow compared the two!

Now grinning, Zayne then teased, “Seems that the Third Young Lady is troubled…”

Blushing, Xavia then retorted, “As if! I’m not a monk, nor do I have any intentions of going to a temple! That aside, are you going to treat my wound or not, Dr. Xenos? If you aren’t, then just get another doctor for me!”

Tossing her old bandage away, he then began cleaning her wound with medicinal alcohol while saying, “Aren’t I already in the process? Regardless, the more anxious you get, the clearer it is that your mind is impure and that you’re feeling guilty about something… You should really train yourself to be more composed, otherwise if Keith finds out, things will surely take an upsetting turn…”

…This man was insane…!

By the time she was finally allowed out of his office, Xavia was both irked and upset. Noticing that, Keith then asked in a caring tone, “What’s wrong…? Did it hurt that much…?”

Shaking her head, Xavia simply replied, “…Not at all. Either way, Dr. Xenos told me that I’d recover soon… Once that happens, I’ll finally be able to patch up your clothes…”

“Don’t think about that… My clothes can wait. For now, just focus on getting your hand to recover…” said Keith as he led her downstairs.

Though Xavia nodded in response, she was clearly distracted. After all, when Zayne was talking about Keith earlier, why had she immediately compared him to Zivon…?

…It was probably because of his terrible image in her heart! That must be the case!
