“Thank you for the compliment, Uncle Zivon. It is quite late, so you've probably already eaten by now, right? We will be going to eat now so we will not delay you any longer, Uncle Zivon.”

She was clearly trying to drive him away, and Zivon’s expression turned icy.

Keith hurriedly said, “Xavia, how can you have this kind of attitude towards Uncle Zivon? Uncle Zivon has also been busy at work today and he probably has not eaten yet. Uncle Zivon, let’s eat together.”

“But…” Xavia really hated Zivon and did not want him to eat the dishes that she had cooked.

She pouted and said to Keith, “You’re so busy so I came to the office to accompany you. We only have this short period of time together, and I’m sure Uncle Zivon wouldn't want to be a third wheel and disturb us either… Isn’t that right, Uncle Zivon?”

As she spoke, she clung to Keith like a fragile little bird. She really looked like a woman who was completely in love with her boyfriend.

Zivon’s eyes darkened. He was furious, but forced a smile onto his face. “Naturally, I do not want to disturb the both of you, but I am curious to see how Keith managed to tame someone as wild and wilful as you.”

His words were obviously a threat. If she pushed him too far, he would expose the truth about just how wild and wilful she could be.

Xavia knew what he was implying and feared that he would really expose something. However, after coming out of prison, Xavia had made the decision to stay far away from him. His words today also told her that she was just ‘that kind of woman’ to him.

She did not want to be involved with him anymore.

Xavia placed her hands on Keith’s shoulders. Her voice was bright and coquettish as she said, “It’s very simple: Young Master Keith is warm, handsome, and gentlemanly. He is also capable and outstanding, and that is why I am as well-behaved as a kitten when I'm with him. It’s just like how a strong and capable woman like my elder sister would be willing to do anything for you, Uncle Zivon, what’s there to not understand?”

“Uncle Zivon, if you want a better explanation, you can ask my elder sister about it. I think that my sister will be able to give you a detailed and touching answer about love and relationships.”

Her simple words expressed her fondness for Keith and also reminded Zivon about his relationship with Jenna.

Zivon looked at the way she was leaning against Keith, and clenched his fists in his trouser pockets. He really wanted to go forward and deal with her accordingly.
