She had always been pampered by him, and she had never seen him with other women. Now, he was suddenly saying that he wanted to get married…
And he wanted to get married to Xavia!
Why? Why did it seem like every man she liked wanted to marry Xavia?
Jenna dug her long nails into the palms of her hands, and blood soon beaded on her skin. “You can get down now. Ask Xavia to get into the car, I will send her back.”
Keith said, “She is very tired since she just got out of prison. We will not trouble you. I will send her back for a while, then we will return to my villa.”
After he was done speaking, Keith opened the car door and left.
Jenna sat frozen in her seat. The blue veins on her forehead were clear against her fair skin.
Did she hear it wrong or did he say it wrong? He actually wanted to bring Xavia back to his villa?
“Ahh!” Jenna punched the steering wheel violently.
Outside the car.
Xavia did not have the slightest idea that Jenna’s hatred for her ran so deep. She followed Keith into his car and went back to Lockhart Mansion.
She did not want to face Mr. and Mrs. Lockhart, so she went straight to the back door.
“Mommy! Mommy, you’re back!” As soon as the little girl saw her, she ran over to her and threw herself into Xavia’s arms.
Xavia carried her and said emotionally, “Yulia…Mommy’s precious daughter. I missed you so much.”
She had been so close to losing Yulia for ten years, and her shaky voice was filled with love and gratitude.
Yulia wrapped her small hands around Xavia’s neck. “Mommy, I missed you too! I missed you so much. I was going to cry if you did not come back.”
Dolly walked over. “The little one kept saying that her eyelids were twitching all day long. She was so worried that something had happened to you, and it took ages to coax her to sleep for the past few nights.”
