With how serious he sounded, Jenna felt a lump in her throat as she replied, “No… I… well… I did have a look at it when the news about Xavia popped up earlier… However, I couldn’t unlock the phone due to your password…”
Still looking as cold as ever, Zivon then said, “Don’t touch my phone without a good reason ever again…”
“…Got it,” replied Jenna, prompting Zivon to walk away…
Once he got downstairs, he clicked to check on the news… and at the top of the trending tab, was the hashtag, ‘Xavia Lockhart leaves the country!’
This made Zivon narrow his eyes. Clicking on the original post, he soon saw what Xavia had posted on her account. She had gone abroad…? But hadn’t she just been with Keith last night? What on earth was going on?
Sensing his father’s confusion, Maison—who was seated at the dinner table—was prompted to say, “I know why Aunt went abroad, Daddy…”
Despite hearing that, Zivon simply ignored his son. It was clear that he didn’t want to even hear the reason. Even so, Maison simply added, “Aunt said that she was going to meet the most important person to her… It should be someone similar to the Little Bun in my heart… Her sweetheart. It’s all in her message…”
Following that, Maison placed his phone in front of Zivon. Though Zivon didn’t want to read it, he still ended up looking at the contents of the message… and shortly after, his expression fell.
‘It was impossible to be with him’? Like he had ever said it was going to be possible between them! Also, ‘set him and Jenna up’? Did she really have to meddle in his affairs?
Now looking colder than ever, Zivon simply growled, “Take it away.”
Moving back to Xavia, it was the third morning when the cell’s door was finally opened again… In stepped a huge person—dressed in a suit and leather shoes—together with a few serious-looking special officers.
After looking at her for a bit, the massive individual was prompted to say, “Due to your elder sister’s appeal, the other party’s parents have agreed to revoke the lawsuit. That aside, you’ll still need to be imprisoned for ten years, starting from today. Also, we promised your elder sister that we’d keep your identity confidential, simply because of your special identity. With all that said, we’ll be escorting you to Deckstoln Prison now.”
