Jenna felt much happier in her heart as she thought about this. “Dad, Mom, my younger sister isn’t used to eating the food at home. It’s inevitable that she would feel emotional. We should be more considerate towards her and not be angry at her,” she comforted gently.

“Honestly! How can she not be used to the food? I think that she is obviously trying to make things difficult for us on purpose. You’re so much better compared to her. You’re filial and sensible, so you never make us worry about you.”

“Okay, that’s enough. We should not talk about her anymore. Zivon rarely comes to our house so don’t let her spoil our mood now,” Francis interrupted. After that, he smiled at Zivon and said, “Zivon, I specially got someone to buy your favorite red wine. Why don’t you try it out?”

Zivon had been sitting nobly at the dining table with a cold expression and temperament from the beginning to the end. He had a kind of coldness, indifferent and estranged aura surrounding him, as if no one could approach him at all.

He parted his thin lips coldly and said, “I’m not used to eating these dishes either. I’m going to pick Maison up and leave.”

After saying those words, Zivon got up and walked in the direction where Xavia had gone.

Francis and Heather’s face instantly tensed up. “…What’s wrong with Zivon today?”

“Moreover, why would Maison follow Xavia’s daughter to play with her? He did not even want to come out and eat when we asked him to.”

Jenna sat in her seat, her grip on her fork tightening.

When she received a phone call from her parents asking her to bring Zivon over, Jenna initially thought that Zivon would not agree to it. She only decided to ask him with the slightest bit of hope but she really would not have expected him to just agree to it.

She initially thought that it was the matter relating to Xavia and Keith’s video that made him cool down and decided to get along with her and stay away from Xavia instead.

But now, that was obviously not the case!

She felt a sense of unease in her heart and she forced out, “Zivon might be having an upset stomach. It’s okay. Dad, Mom, you guys should continue eating first. I’ll go and keep him company.”

“Xavia, why did you come out so soon?”

“Mommy, is there a lot of delicious food out there?”

Dolly and Yulia asked out of curiosity. Maison simply sat to the side as he tried to help Yulia sort out her Barbie dolls.

When Xavia saw them, she felt as if even the air around her suddenly smelled good. She smiled and said, “It’ll be awkward if I continue to stay with them. There’s nothing delicious to eat there anyway. That’s why I decided to come over here.”
