After hesitating for a moment, Zivon still did not feel at ease. So he took out his cell phone and sent a text message to Nathan.

[Ask Zayne to go and find out what is wrong with Xavia.]

Nathan, who received the text message, was not surprised.

Zivon finally felt peace and relief in his heart after sending the text message. He put his cell phone away and began talking to Stefan.

Stefan stayed for a meal since the both of them could get along and because of the adorable Maison.

There was exquisite western food, grilled marbled steak, a fresh sashimi platter, foie gras, French potage, coupled with a glass of red wine that was flown in by air today placed on the simple and modern dining table. Each of these dishes was all an exquisite and luxurious feast.

Jenna waited for them to be seated before she smiled and said, “My cooking might not be as good as the Western restaurants, so I do not know if the food will be delicious. So please bear with me.”

She had a very poised and dignified attitude, just like that of a virtuous hostess.

Maison turned his head and ignored her completely.

Zivon also had an arrogant look on his face as he said elegantly and politely, “Thank you for your hard work.”

There did not seem to be any love and affection in their polite attitude, but instead, there seemed to be a sense of respect and unfamiliarity instead.

Stefan’s warm eyes darkened slightly. If he recalled correctly, this was not how the both of them were getting along before this. Moreover, Maison had not spoken a single word to Jenna throughout the whole day. So why did Stefan feel as though somehow something did not seem quite right?

“Chairman Talton, I’m delighted that Burton Group can reach a collaboration with Talton Group. I would like to offer a toast to you,” Jenna said softly and gently.

Stefan looked at the beautiful and elegant woman under the light, and the corners of his mouth slowly curled up slightly as he clinked his glass with hers.

Jenna raised the glass of red wine elegantly and drank it. Her every move was that of a young lady from a wealthy family.

Stefan’s eyes darkened. He smiled, but he did not say anything. After leaving the villa, he sat in the car as if he was deep in his thoughts.

In the driver’s seat, Anthony asked, “Chairman Talton, do you feel that Miss Lockhart is acting quite strangely today?”

Stefan smiled and said, “She is not Jenna.”
