Zivon’s eyes turned dark. He parted his lips and said, “What else would I have to say? This is it.”

“Oh!” Zayne drawled in reply.

Next, he asked curiously, “By the way, how is the love life of you and sister-in-law? I’ve been watching you guys in the news lately. You two seem quite affectionate with each other. Is it possible for you two to have a second child? Well, isn’t this the right thing to do? Give birth to a little brother or sister for Maison as a companion and be a happy family of four.”

Zivon’s handsome face turned slightly murky. He swept his glance over Zayne and mocked him sharply, “Have you found yourself a girlfriend yet?” His underlying implication was ‘mind your own business and stop meddling with others’.

Zayne choked after hearing those words of mockery, then he turned around to look at Chace. “ Chace, just look at Zivon. This guy is unreasonable. Shouldn’t you say something about it?”

Chace raised his eyes and teased him faintly, “He’s got the point. Have you found yourself a girlfriend yet?”

Zayne almost gushed out with a mouthful of blood.

‘Chace, Zivon, you two can’t do this to me!’

Hence, Zayne took a sip of wine and mocked the duo sarcastically, “Indeed, I haven’t found myself a girlfriend yet, but compared with your circumstances, I’d rather stay single. Though you two are married, you guys still live the same as someone who doesn’t have a wife. So maybe the two of you will become truly single one day!”

“Especially you, Zivon. Before this, Chace was in your shoes. He didn’t even fancy his wife and gave her all kinds of bad treatment. Now he had to do all sorts of things to get back with her. You better watch out! You might end up like him too.”

“After all, our sister-in-law is educated, gentle and virtuous. She also loves you dearly. Where else can you find such a wife?”

Zivon drank the red wine in his glass and allowed the thick and mellow liquor to spread inside his lips and lungs. In the end, he answered after a slight pause, “What is so great about her that makes me can’t shake her off my mind? You are overthinking it.”

Apparently, his tone was cold, heartless, unconcerned and had a hint of impatience. The more he revealed this kind of attitude, the more it indicated there was a situation.
