Xavia was curious.
Maison said, “My father is one of the shareholders of the entertainment company. If you talk to him, he could just snap his fingers, and the matter would be taken care of.”
That would mean begging Zivon for help, right?
Forget it!
She did not want anything to do with Zivon, and neither did she want to let them know that she was working there.
Xavia said, “Don’t ever tell your daddy where I work. I can handle it myself.”
“Oh…” Maison was disappointed. He intended to let his aunt talk to his father, so that his father could help, and in one way or another, they might just catch feelings for each other.
But this looked like… What now?
What a pair of troublesome adults!
Twenty minutes later, the car steadily pulled over by the bungalow.
Xavia got out of the car.
Maison had fingerprint recognition on the door. He easily unlocked it and brought Xavia in.
Afterward…
When they stepped into the house, Nathan ran over hurriedly and pulled Xavia behind the curtains.
“Miss Xavia Lockhart, Lady Burton and Miss Yulia Lockhart are here. I’m sorry, but you may have to avoid them for now.”
With that said, the sound of footsteps could be heard from the hallway.
Ava Yaleman was walking down the stairs. When she saw Maison, she looked at him kindly. “My good grandson is back.”
Maison knew it was not a good time to expose his aunt right now. So he smiled gently and said, “Yes, Grandma. I went to kindergarten today.”
“Yes, I’ve heard from your daddy. Quick, tell Grandma what’s it like there?”
Maison held Ava’s hand, walked to the sofa, and sat down with their backs facing Xavia. He said, “It’s very childish there, but the kids were cute, and there’s a girl that I really liked.”
“Really? Our little Maison is really good at making friends. You’ve already found a friend that you liked! You must introduce the girl that you liked to Grandma one day, okay?” Ava was excited and amiable.
