Pregnant and Favored: See You in the Morning, Young Master novel Chapter 492

Dolly suddenly knelt on the wool carpet with a thud!

She looked at everyone with a pitiful expression on her face as she said word by word, “Please don’t bully Sweetie.”

“Sweetie grew up with her foster mother because she had lost her parents at a young age. She didn’t have enough food to eat every day, and she could only eat one meal with meat once every ten days. She fainted several times out of hunger during our classes, and our classmates had to send her to the hospital.”

“The deepest impression that I have of her was when the doctor asked her to drink more milk. Although she was already fifteen years old at that time, she didn't even know what milk was or what it looked like at all. The only beverage that she had ever drank was plain water. As you should all know, most of us drink at least a bottle of milk a day.”

“Later on, after we became friends, I found out that not only was she not well fed and clothed, but her foster mother also forced her to do farm work to earn money to support the family. She was forced to do farm work, to plant rice and transport rice seedlings ever since she was six years old. There are still scars on her hands now. She was then forced by her foster mother to start washing dishes at restaurants when she was eight years old. Her hands were often stiff and frostbitten during winter. When that happened, she couldn’t even hold a fork in her hand to eat, and she had to rely on me to feed her back then.”

“The most that she had to do was to work three jobs in one day, and she could only sleep for four hours a day.”

“But no matter how hard she worked, her foster mother took all of her money to pay the mortgage, so she doesn’t have any pocket money left for herself at all. All of the clothes and the items that she used came from the garbage collection station, courtesy of her foster mother.”

“In addition…the most important thing was that she fainted this year and was then admitted to the hospital once again. She was diagnosed with kidney failure, so she had to remove one of her kidneys!”

“She cannot work so hard anymore but her foster mother was still trying to force her to make more money. Her foster mother even schemed against her by selling her to an old and perverted man who was in his forties or fifties.”

“She nearly died in his hands but after desperately escaping from his clutches, she ran all the way here to Darlsbury. I was the one who gave her the idea to do live broadcasting so that she wouldn’t have to go back anymore.”

“She doesn’t have any experience and she doesn't know how to produce any videos, let alone have any thoughts or intentions of becoming very popular. All that she wants is to be able to eat well, dress well, and to be able to feed herself and her daughter so that they would not need to get abused by her foster mother anymore.”

“Please don’t bully her anymore. If she is going to get bullied in Darlsbury which is supposed to be a warm place for her, she won’t be able to survive anymore.”

“Please have some pity for her and give her a little love so that she can know that there is actually still warmth in this world too.”

Every word that Dolly spoke was tearful, tragic and poignant.

Xavia widened her black eyes in surprise. This…this…this was way too out of topic, right?!

All the anchors were also shocked.

“Is there really someone as pitiful as this in the 21st century?”
