Momentarily going speechless, Xavia eventually replied, ‘Don’t worry, I haven’t gone bonkers yet. Like hell I’d stay with him! He’s the reason why I almost left Dalrsbury! Regardless, I’m choosing to stay since I signed a contract with Dallas Entertainment for an annual salary of ten million dollars. They’ll even be promoting me to help me gain more fans! With that said, I’ll be attempting to grab a better hold of my future!’

It didn’t take long for Dolly to send another message, stating, ‘My god! You actually managed to get a contract with Dallas Entertainment?! You’re not pulling my leg, are you? God, I’m so envious! That does it! I’m booking a flight tonight to come join you! I’ll be your assistant and rely on you to achieve success! Be sure to pick me up tomorrow!’

This left Xavia speechless once more. What kind of best friend was that girl…? One second she was asking if her statement was true, and the next she was planning to book a flight over? Wasn’t she being a bit too impulsive…?

Regardless, Xavia simply replied, ‘It’s all true… Yulia and I are currently living in the company’s dormitory, and I’ll officially start work in a few days. That aside, are you sure you want to come over…? What about your restaurant and house?’

Xavia was asking since Dolly’s stylish and sentimental restaurant business had been going pretty well in the past three years. Dolly herself had used all her savings to buy her current house. What more, it’d surely be a massive change for her to just leave her current life behind…

With that in mind, Dolly was prompted to reply, ‘I’ll just let the store manager take care of the restaurant. As for the house, it can remain empty for all I care! Though Xavia felt helpless upon reading that, she couldn’t deny that she really missed Dolly. Having her here would be great too… With that, Xavia texted, ‘…Well, alright then. Send me a message when you arrive tomorrow and I’ll come pick you up at the airport.’

It was noon the next day when Dolly arrived in Darlsbury. Upon getting Dolly’s message, Xavia brought Yulia along to the airport to pick her up. To her surprise, upon closer inspection of the address, Dolly appeared to be in a five-star restaurant—not too far off—instead.
