Xavia had been busy concentrating on taking care of his wound.

She wiped the wound clean first before she took a cotton swab to use the medical alcohol to gently disinfect the wound. She wiped the wound little by little, in a careful and serious manner, and she didn’t look at him from the beginning to the end.

Zivon realized that Xavia somehow emitted and gave people an unusually comfortable feeling. She gave him a totally different feeling compared to the feeling that he felt from other women.

“Do you often apply medicine?” He asked.

Xavia nodded. “Yeah. Yulia is a little mischievous and she would fall down and bump into things. So I’m already used to bandaging wounds.”

“Who’s Yulia?”

Ahh!

It was over! She let the cat out of the bag!

Xavia hurriedly laughed before she quickly changed the subject. “No one. Just a child. I’ve already applied the medicine on your wound. Does it hurt? Do you want me to find you a painkiller?”

Zivon didn’t notice that she was acting unnaturally. He simply glanced at the bow tie on the bandage which was really childish. He then said softly, “No need.”

He didn’t even frown once from the very beginning as if the person who got injured was not him.

Xavia could not help but think that if she was the one with the wound, she would have already cried out in pain.

She thanked him sincerely, “Thank you.”

These two words were extremely sincere and serious, and it came from the bottom of her heart.

Zivon also raised the corners of his lips slightly when he saw her well-behaved and serious posture.

This woman actually had quite the conscience after putting away her sharp tongue and her usual toughness.

He suddenly became very interested and the tone of his voice was a little evil as he said, “I usually don’t accept a verbal thank you. So what kind of practical actions do you plan to use then?”

Xavia frowned.

Weren’t people usually supposed to say that there was no need to say thank you, or you are welcome? Why wasn’t he taking her usual route? Besides that, he was so high and mighty and he had everything that he needed. So, what could she possibly use to thank him? Promise her body to him?
