Zivon was very familiar with women’s dysmenorrhea because he had somehow always been by Jenna’s side whenever she had it, but...
“I thought that only women who had given birth before would suffer from dysmenorrhea?”
Xavia frowned and knitted her brows tightly.
Generally speaking, every girl’s physique was different. Some people no longer felt pain during their period after getting married, but some people felt even more pain after giving birth to a child. She belonged to the latter category; it had started hurting even more after she gave birth.
Was Jenna the one who told him that? Xavia's mind was foggy, and she was in so much pain that she did not feel like talking about it.
Zivon realized that Xavia’s condition seemed to be much more serious than Jenna's had been. He went and took a heat pack from Maison, then handed it to her. “Stick this on your lower abdomen, you need it more than Maison does right now.”
After that, he opened the thermos and poured the hot water out.
Xavia wanted to refuse but she understood her body's condition very well—she could not be a burden to them at such a critical moment. She reluctantly took the heat pack and placed it on her lower abdomen, then said feebly, “The hot water is useless to me. Keep it for Maison.”
Zivon stared at Xavia’s pained face, then looked away. His tall figure seemed cold and desolate under the dim moonlight.
If he was facing danger alone, he would never panic. However, at this moment, both adult and child were unwell and the usually unruffled Zivon could not help but felt anxious.
Xavia’s gaze fell on the man’s cold frame. Was he annoyed?
He had worriedly carried Jenna away when she was ill in the past, but he couldn't even bother to look at her right now. Nothing had changed.
He was only good to Jenna.
The cold chill of the night got heavier.
Xavia was bombarded by bursts of pain, and though she clenched her fists so tightly that her fingernails left red marks on her palm, she could not overcome the pain.
She bit her lip tightly as she tried to endure it, but the pain was overwhelming. It felt like she might die from it!
Would she be able to make it through the night?
