His deliberately casual inquiry seemed to carry a completely different meaning.
Xavia’s small frame instantly tensed. Massage wherever he asked her to?
Where exactly did he want her to massage?!
A rather inappropriate place suddenly flashed through her mind, and she vigorously shook her head. “No. Just the normal places.”
“Are you implying that the places I was going to mention are not normal? Hmm?”
Xavia gritted her teeth.
That’s right! He had clearly been implying that, but why did it seem as though she was the one with impure thoughts now?!
She knew she would not be able to outtalk him, so she simply pinched his leg angrily.
Zivon let out a muffled grunt and jerked his leg away. “That was quite painful. You seem to be in good spirits.”
“Hmph, of course! Be careful or I will pinch you if you dare tease me again.” After saying that, Xavia stood up and went to take her cell phone that she had buried.
She tried to restart her phone, but the only response she got was a black screen. She sighed dejectedly. “I thought that if I warmed it, it would charge slightly. If I had a bit of battery, I could call for help.”
Zivon’s cell phone had a function where he could press a key to send out a distress signal even if the cell phone was turned off. Unfortunately, his cell phone had been turned off and left in the hotel for Maison’s sake.
“It's probably one o’clock now. We should just wait until eight in the morning—someone should find us by then,” Zivon said bluntly.
Eight o’clock? That was seven hours away, and it was freezing!
Xavia was worried about Maison, and undeniably a little worried about Zivon too. He was wearing so little clothes and Xavia did not know whether he would be able to make it through the night.
Just as she was thinking about it, the man said in a low voice, “Maison seems to be having a slight fever.”
