Moving back to Luna who was equally upset, she could be seen sitting on her villa’s lavish balcony, seriously considering whether to let all of this continue. After all, as much as she wanted to be with him, she simply couldn’t bear the idea of simply being Fabiola’s replacement…

Her train of thought was cut short when her phone suddenly rang… It was Eileen, a close friend of hers who was living abroad. Raising a slight brow, she picked the call up… and the second she did, she was immediately greeted by Eileen’s horrified voice wailing, “L-Luna…! Luna, please…! You need to save me from Daniel…!”

“…H-huh? But doesn’t he treat you extremely well? Also, didn’t you two just get married recently-”

“It was all just a lie to get my money! After I told him that I knew his true goals, he began hitting me, and…! Just please-”

Before Eileen could complete her sentence, the call ended abruptly… and understandably worried, Luna immediately got to her feet and booked a flight over to her good friend’s place. She wasn’t about to leave a friend in need, plus… She needed some solace to work out her feelings for Neal anyway.

Feeling increasingly irked the more he thought about it, he ended up rejecting the report just to relieve his frustration! Naturally, the other reports soon underwent the same fate! As all this was happening, his staff members couldn’t help but whisper among themselves…

“I wonder who made Mr. Xenos this pissed…”

“Beats me, though I do know that all of my reports have been rejected in the past few weeks…! If this continues, I’ll be the one going through a mental breakdown…!”
