‘Write me a love letter in over five-hundred words’, ‘Knit me a scarf with my name embroidered on it’, ‘prepare us some couple outfits’…
It was a checklist…! And it went up to ninety-nine requests! What the hell?!
Realizing that Hanley was staring at her from the door, the helpless woman muttered, “…A bit childish, don’t you think…?”
“Childish? You didn’t seem to think so when you did those things for Neal…” replied Hanley as he walked over to the couch and folded his legs.
…Wasn’t he failing to take into consideration that she had much more free time on her platter back then?! And why was he still being so picky about that?!
Since Fabiola wasn’t replying, Hanley eventually said, “…Don’t worry, you have all the time in the world to complete that checklist…”
Knowing full well that he was serious, Fabiola sighed before muttering, “…I guess I may as well start somewhere…”
With that, she began writing the love letter… But sadly, writing was her weakness!
Watching as she fumbled around trying to think of what to write, Hanley couldn’t help but smile. There had been a time when she wouldn’t do anything for him… So the fact that she was now obeying such a simple request showed just how much things had changed. He wasn’t really interested in what she wrote. All that mattered was that she loved him enough to obey him…
Regardless, it was about three hours later when Fabiola finally handed him the paper that she had been writing on… and it wrote, ‘Good day, Mr. Robinson. Thank you for being part of my life. I am super blessed. Thank you. Love, Fabiola.’
