“…Did you really say all that to him…?!”
“I-I would never! Don’t tell such lies, Jensen!”
“I’m not. You told me those exact words when I was sending you home last night…” muttered Jensen, leaving Tiffany slightly stunned.
…Come to think of it, she faintly remembered that conversation happening now… She had been extremely frustrated at the time, and she was drunk, so… After gulping slightly, she meekly replied, “…I-I didn’t mean all that-”
Alas, before she could even complete her sentence, Ian had already gotten to his feet and stridden off!
Naturally, Tiffany immediately wanted to chase after him, but she found herself being held back by Jensen who said, “Tiffany. It’s important to end bad marriages, and divorce isn’t something to be ashamed of.”
“That’s not the point! I’m not getting a divorce with him, and I only said all that because of how drunk I was! Thanks for the meal, but I’ll be off now!” replied Tiffany as she broke free and continued bolting toward the door… and by the time she got out, she realized that Ian had already entered the car!
Thankfully, she made it in time, and after closing the car’s door, she was prompted to take a deep breath before saying, “…Were you really planning to just leave me behind?”
“You’re looking for a new husband anyway, so what’s the problem with that?” scoffed Ian, leaving Tiffany slightly speechless.
Leaning closer to him, she was prompted to mutter, “…With how pretty I am, he’ll surely take me to bed as soon as you leave, you know…? Are you sure you want to leave me alone with such a man…?”
