Beaming in response, Ian was quick to exclaim, “You heard right! She’s awake…! It’s a miracle! Hold on, where’s Zivon? He needs to know! He can be saved…!”

Noticing the fear in Nathan’s eyes, Ian immediately squinted before kicking the door open… and once it flung open, he was greeted by the sight of Zivon standing by the moonlit window with a glass in hand… A glass that probably contained a fatal amount of medicine…!

Bolting inside and snatching the glass away from him, the anxious Ian then immediately attempted to pry Zivon’s mouth open while yelling, “Are you out of your mind…?! Spit it out! Spit it out, I say…!”

Clearly not expecting any of this, Zivon found himself gagging out whatever he had swallowed before pushing Ian away and replying, “Calm down! What are you even-”

“You calm down! Don’t go killing yourself off so quickly! Xavia’s already awake, you know?! Now come on! You can be saved!” retorted the infuriated Ian.

“…What?” replied Zivon in disbelief.

Knowing what Zivon was thinking, Ian confidently said, “I have little reason to lie to you! Look, Xavia entered a critical condition earlier, and all of us rushed to the ward to help her. We even thought that she wasn’t going to make it, so we were already discussing keeping this from you when all of a sudden, a miracle happened! She apparently heard our pleas and learned that you were in danger, so she was finally able to wake up!”
