“How could it not?! You’ve already survived so many battles with her! How could you still be so untrusting of my sister?! You’re her husband, for heaven’s sake! Would it kill to let her attempt to explain herself?! Just so you know, she nearly broke down from all your dumb actions up till this point! She literally had to cry herself to sleep, and I still remember your vow to never make her cry again!” retorted the infuriated Ian, causing Zivon’s gaze to darken…
“…You know what? You’re right. I’ve failed her, and I’m unworthy of being with the princess anymore. With that said, I’m giving her freedom again.”
“You…! You’re unbelievable!” howled Ian before turning to leave!
Upon arriving at the elevator, he bumped into Xavia and Tiffany… and upon recalling Zivon’s words, the irked man pulled Xavia away from the ward’s direction while growling, “Don’t even think about staying with that hopeless man anymore!”
Immediately trying to struggle free, Xavia replied, “No! I’m going to explain everything to him-”
“There’s nothing to explain to a man who refuses to trust in you! Now come with me!”
“I’m not leaving! Also, you’re hurting me…!” whimpered Xavia who was looking increasingly troubled.
Pursing her lips, Tiffany quickly helped Xavia break free from Ian’s grip… and after the woman had run off, she looked at Ian before saying, “…Let them work things out. The more you interfere, the more unhappy she’ll be.”
