It didn’t take long for Nathan to realize that he had left his phone back at the flat… but by the time he returned, he knew that Zivon had already seen it all! After all, that demon of a man was exuding an immensely terrifying aura…!
Now quivering, Nathan gulped before saying, “I-It’s not what you think, Young Master Burton…! I-I just haven’t told you about the pictures yet since I don’t want you to misunderstand her again until we know the entire story-”
“A misunderstanding is the least of her problems…! She already knows that I hate it when she gets this close to other men, so it makes me wonder if she even takes me seriously…!” interrupted the icy man, instantly sending a shiver down Nathan’s spine.
Just as Nathan was wondering how to calm his boss down, he heard Zivon growl, “…Get me a helicopter. I’m going to see what she’s up to with my own eyes…!”
Having no other choice, all Nathan could do was follow Zivon’s orders for now…
Naturally, Xavia had no way of knowing that all this had happened. Then again, she wouldn’t have had the energy to do much anyway since she had been so stressed this entire time. The truth was, Stefan had been unable to find a suitable blood donor up till this point, and because of that, they had used Mark’s blood as a risky, but temporary solution. After all, Stefan had literally been on his last breaths when they arrived yesterday.
Sure, Stefan could’ve gotten donations from his family members, but it was honestly discouraged since blood transfusions from immediate family members oftentimes led to complications.
In the end, Xavia who had been beating herself up for not paying more attention to her good friend for well over a year, pleaded for the doctor to let her donate blood to him… and thanks to her blood’s magical properties, Stefan was now back in relatively stable condition…
Alas, all that blood loss had caused her to feel faint, and because of that, Mark had brought her to one of the wards to rest…
