Going slightly pale when she heard that, Rhea quickly said, “A-apologies, Professor! I just had some extra time, which was why I thought I could at least help you out this way… D-don’t worry, I help the other professors too, so I’m really sorry if Mrs. Burton misunderstands my actions… If needed, I can meet up with her to explain-”
“There’s no need for that. Also, hand me my phone,” replied Zivon who had handed it to Rhea before conducting the experiment since the experiment could be affected by electronic waves.
Handing him the phone, Rhea politely said, “Here you go! Um… I should mention that Mrs. Burton called earlier, and I told her that you were in the middle of an experiment… After hanging up, she sent you a message…”
Squinting a little, Zivon growled, “…Didn’t I tell you not to pick up any calls…?!”
“I-I’m sorry! I just answered because it was from your wife, and I was worried that it had something to do with your babies!” whimpered Rhea as she quickly bowed in apology.
Following a heavy sigh, Zivon replied, “…Just don’t do this again. Now run along.”
“T-thank you for your forgiveness, Professor!”
After Rhea had run off, Zivon disinfected his phone before finally checking Xavia’s message… but after reading it, he couldn’t help but raise a slight brow.
Once she picked his call up, he was quick to ask, “Xav? How’s Stefan looking?”
