After all, doing so would give away that Zivon had a motive to exact his revenge…! If he wasn’t careful, then all his misdoings would surely come to light! With that in mind, all Liam could do was hold his wrath back as he growled, “…I appreciate the concern, Brother…!”
Smiling subtly in response, Zivon replied, “Of course, Brother Liam… Regardless, be more careful from now on, alright? You never know when the next accident may strike…”
Naturally, Liam knew exactly what Zivon meant by that… and the second that icy man left the room, Liam instantly tossed all the glasses on the table to the floor! Glowering at the glass shards that were now sprinkled all across the room, Liam growled, “He’s the culprit…! He definitely is…! That damned Zivon…! I’ll kill him! I’ll tear him to shreds, even…!”
Gulping slightly when he saw how infuriated Liam was, Fred was quick to reply, “P-please calm down, Young Master Liam! Honestly, I didn’t think it was him at first since he’s so prestigious and all but… Now that I think about it, this may be his way of having his revenge… With that said, we need to be more careful from now on. I have a feeling that this is only the beginning…!”
Clenching his fists, Liam then snapped, “Then what the hell are you waiting for…?! Go look for evidence that he was the one who started that fire! If we manage to find anything against him, then we can end his reputation, once and for all…!”
“R-right away!” exclaimed the trembling Fred as he bolted off…
Alas, not only did Fred fail to locate any evidence, but he soon found out that footage of Liam leaving his mother under the tree had somehow made it online…!
Though it started off with Liam looking like a good son by carrying both his elders out of the burning home, it was soon revealed that he had prioritized his father simply for the sake of inheritance money! It didn’t help that flaming leaves began falling on his mother shortly after he ran off!
‘How horrifying…! Can you imagine how saddened she would be once she sees this upon waking up…?!’
