Ever since that failed attempt to blow herself up with Liam, Jenna had been doing her best to live like Xavia. From learning how to dance like her, to getting her speech pattern right. Thankfully, she was a fast learner, and she was now barely distinguishable from the original.
“Don’t worry, I’m sure Liam won’t suspect a thing,” muttered Jenna with a sigh. After that article's release and that call, they probably wouldn’t suspect Xavia for a long while…
Squinting slightly, Ian replied, “Good work. I’ll go and notify Zivon.”
It wasn’t long before Zivon picked Ian’s call up… and after being told about Jenna’s participation, he had to admit that it was a rather good call. However…
“…Why didn’t you tell me about this earlier?”
“I didn’t want the info to accidentally leak out. That aside, I wanted to see if you were capable of protecting her without my intervention. Don’t worry, you did everything you could and I understand that. Anyway, Jenna will continue taking Xavia’s place in the next few days, so you can let her walk around a bit more until further notice.”
Nodding in response, Zivon replied, “…I appreciate the help.”
“Don’t mention it. That aside, how’s your health looking? Remember, I’m not about to continue entrusting my sister to someone who’s always sickly.”
“I’m taking good care of myself, and if there comes a time when I become a burden to her, I won’t hold her back.”
“…You know I don’t mean it that way. Anyway, take care,” concluded Ian before hanging up.
