“That aside, I think the news said that you have amnesia, right? Probably for the best if you ask me. After all, he’s the reason you went through all that suffering!” added Maria, prompting Xavia to frown. What did she mean by ‘suffering’…?
Squinting slightly, Dolly then gave Maria a shove while growling, “Stop spouting nonsense, you bitch!”
Nearly falling down, the irked Maria retorted, “You’re spouting nonsense! I’m merely stating facts! Remember, her grandmother wouldn’t have died if only Young Master Burton had done a better job at stopping Jenna! Speaking of Jenna, she’s dead too, and Sophia nearly had Yulia raped! As if all that wasn’t already enough, she then had to experience a traumatizing kidnapping! Do you really think she’s lucky to have that man?”
“If I were her, I’d have run away from him ages ago! After all, who would want to experience such traumatizing events over and over again? Clenching her fists, Dolly growled, “You know, with how much you said, it makes me wonder if you’re actually just jealous of her!”
Sneering in response, Maria retorted, “Please, why would I need to be jealous of her when I have all these expensive rings? They’re all gifts from Young Master Saltman, by the way. I may just marry that man someday!”
Looking at all the expensive-looking rings, Dolly couldn’t help but feel slightly stunned. That Young Master Saltman…? Bianca’s ex…?!
