“For one, you probably wanted Xav dead as much as Whitney did, so you did what you could to supply Whitney with the necessary drugs! Following that, you even used your family’s influence to bust her out of jail! Regardless, you continued supplying her with the necessary drugs even after Xav was kidnapped… And for what reason? So that you could use me to murder Whitney while Xav died in bed after having her IV drip tampered with!”
“With both women dead, you assumed that you would emerge victorious! Did I get any of that wrong?” concluded Zivon in an icy tone.
Zivon was absolutely correct, of course, but Fiona couldn’t just say that! Fighting the urge to tremble, Fiona replied, “T-that’s all wrong! Zivon, why would I ever do such things-”
Tossing a stack of papers onto the bed, Zivon then scoffed, “Hah! Though it’s true that I used to believe that as well, your timely arrival yesterday was too much of a red flag for me to ignore. Following that, I had Nathan look into the matter… and sure enough, he was able to find evidence that you had taken some drugs and poisons from the hospital! All of which had been used on Xav at one point or another!”
“To top it all off, you had apparently been studying up on curing amnesia. Needless to say, that was more than enough to tell me that you had been the one in cahoots with Whitney this entire time! Oh, and though I had made you sleep with that man to dispel any further illusions you had about me, that was simultaneously my punishment for you. Now stop quibbling with me. That stack of papers is all the evidence I need to send you to the cops! Take her away, Nathan!”
By this point, Fiona was too shocked to even reply. To think that he would learn about all that so quickly…! Also, from how sure he sounded, Fiona knew that there was no talking her way out of this!
Still, that didn’t stop her from trying to beg for mercy, but of course, Zivon didn’t give a damn… And shortly after, she was dragged out of the room…
