Before she could say a word, Ian cleared his throat before declaring, “According to article seven hundred and eighty-nine, anyone who purchases illegal drugs and uses them to hurt another will be questioned and imprisoned if found guilty. With that said, please follow us back to the police station.”

Eyes widening in shock, Whitney retorted, “…Y-you’re lying!”

Though Whitney knew that it was illegal to use hurtful drugs, she was also well aware that the government didn’t really manage such cases strictly! To her dismay, Ian simply handed her an open lawbook before saying, “Look here. Since Jenna, Sophia, and several others have used illegal drugs on Zivon so much in the past, he had filed for this law, and it’s been active for a while now.”

“We were notified of what you did last night, and because of that, we believe that it is only right to enforce this law upon you!” concluded Ian, his voice solemn.

Unwilling to accept defeat, Whitney retorted, “I refuse…! You’re all just doing this to get rid of me! Where’s Zivon? Let me see him!”

Just as Whitney was about to rush out of the ward, the guards simply stood in front of her before handcuffing the bewildered woman!

Giving her a death glare, Ian growled, “You’re still trying to play the victim…?! Whitney, even if the law didn’t exist, it’s clear to see that you not only put Zivon’s health at risk last night, but also his reputation! He could easily sue just with those reasons alone!”
