Moving back to Xavia, she slept for about an hour before getting up again to head to Ian’s door… There, she waited for him to come out… but to her surprise, he didn’t come out even when the clock struck seven! In the end, she couldn’t help but knock… and shortly after, she heard a voice ask, “…Sis?”
Rather than coming from Ian’s door, the familiar voice came from behind… and upon turning around, she saw that it was Jacob who had just left his room.
Before she could reply, Jacob added, “If you’re looking for Ian, he went out last night for a mission…”
…So she had been waiting here for nothing?
Sensing the disappointment in her eyes, Jacob was about to ask her what was wrong when he noticed the bruises on her neck… Squinting slightly, Jacob then asked, “…Sis, who caused these bruises? Is someone bullying you?”
Upon hearing that, James immediately ran out of his room before checking on Xavia… and despite her attempts to hide them, James was able to see the bruises as well! Instantly frowning, James was quick to add, “Who did this to you, sis…?! Don’t worry, I’ll call Ian and Dad home right now! We’ll have the perpetrator dealt with in no time!”
Before Xavia could even explain herself, the twins had already called Ian and Homer respectively, leaving her rather speechless. Damn it, she didn’t need the whole world to learn about this…!
It barely took twenty minutes for Homer, Yasmin, and Ian to come running back before exclaiming, “Who dared to bully you, Xavia?!”
“Yes, please tell us…! We’re sorry we’ve been too busy to look after you in the past few days, so please let us make things right…!”
All three of them were equally nervous since they were all still under the impression that Zivon had been too busy at his lab to return home. To them, his absence must have been the cause that Xavia got bullied!
