An evil man in a fine windowpane suit with gold-rimmed glasses on his face approached them.
Keith Burton!
He… was like a noble, elegant gentleman, looking nothing like the man who had vented on her at the villa in the afternoon.
If it weren’t for the marks on her neck that were still hurting, Xavia would have felt that she had been dreaming and tarnishing his reputation.
She froze in place, awkward and afraid.
On the contrary, Keith simply smiled slightly and stood in front of the several men, greeting them one by one.
“Uncle Zivon, Aunt-in-law, Young Master Saltman, Zayne.
“Do you think that Aunt-in-law looks even more beautiful after getting hitched?”
As soon as he spoke up, he talked about Xavia, causing the few people to subconsciously look at Xavia.
Sure enough, unlike Jenna’s maturity, Xavia was young and spirited with delicate skin and a decent figure, tempting men much easier.
Chace felt that Xavia simply relied on this innocent and pure look of hers to seduce Zivon.
Zayne was afraid that Keith would see right through Xavia, so he said with a smile, “That is only natural. Newly married women are just like peaches soaked in sugar water. They are sweeter, prettier and tastier. Keith, do you want to consider taking a wife too?”
Keith laughed and fixed his gaze on Xavi.
“Me? I’d like to marry a beautiful and charming woman just like Aunt-in-law, but I have not met her yet.”
He did not disguise the fondness for her in his deep words.
Xavia tightened her fists as she recalled that he was just a refined ruffian!
She dared to conclude that he must have gotten a hold over Jenna. Hence, he dared to threaten her recklessly and leave hints in front of Zivon!
Xavia pretended that she did not see him nor understand his words.
As a man, Zivon naturally saw through the desire in Keith’s eyes. Keith was interested in Xavia.
This thought made Zivon feel upset, so he said coldly, “You haven’t met her yet? Don’t worry. I will arrange for a blind date for you soon. There will definitely be someone you’ll like out of the hundreds or thousands of girls.”
Hundreds or thousands?
Was it a blind date or a torture?
The corners of Keith’s mouth twitched slightly. After that, he retracted his gaze from Xavia. “Thank you for your concern, Uncle Zivon. I believe in fate so I’ll not trouble you.”
