“…Go on. Were you able to get it?” asked Ian with a raised brow.
Shaking his head, Jovan replied, “Even though I hired the best men I could find, we were unable to locate where Whitney had hidden the antidote… She probably spent quite a lot just to hide it, so… I’m sorry.”
…Damn it! So nothing changed even after he had lowered his standards?! In the end, all he could do was helplessly look at Zivon.
Zivon himself had a solemn expression on his face as he replied, “I expected this much… She knows that the antidote is her only bargaining chip, so it makes sense that she’d do her absolute best to hide it…”
