Pregnant and Favored: See You in the Morning, Young Master novel Chapter 1743

Feeling helpless, Zivon replied, “Again, there’s just nothing similar about you two…”

“…I want an elaboration.”

“…You sure you won’t just get mad again…?”

“I swear!” replied Xavia who really wanted the truth. Little did she know how uncomfortable she was going to get after his explanation…

“Basically, she’s much bolder than you when it comes to her feelings… Back when she was still chasing after me, she didn’t care about how stern I was with her. In fact, even after she found out that I came from a wealthy family, she didn’t care about the social class differences in the least. To her, love was love, and being rich didn’t change anything. As you can imagine, however, her constant pursuits quickly angered Grandma.”

“Because of that, Grandma got the school to expel her, and she even forced Whitney’s family to leave the capital! On their way off, they ended up in a car crash, and her parents didn’t survive. As for Whitney… Her body was never found…” concluded Zivon, leaving Xavia too startled to even say a word. To think that something so serious had happened back then!

That aside, it was clear that Zivon still felt slightly guilty about that incident… No wonder Jenna kept saying that he didn’t like talking about Whitney… It also explained why he tried so hard to search for her the second he learned that she was still alive… Whitney wasn’t just anyone to him, and she wasn’t her substitute either. After all, there was no way she could have replaced all those beautiful yet painful memories…

Feeling her chest tighten, Xavia muttered, “…Sorry, I… I shouldn’t have asked…”

Turning to look at her, Zivon replied, “Don’t worry, it’s all in the past now… That aside, if you ever think I’m trying to express my feelings toward her, know that it is merely out of guilt… Again, you’re different from her. For one, I didn’t accept her when she chased after me. For you, however… Well, you know how it is.”
