Shortly after, two icy men could be seen standing before the frozen pond, and Zivon was first to say, “Don’t you dare approach Xav again, you hear…?!”
Upon seeing how angry Zivon was, Ian couldn’t help but smirk. He was rather pleased with himself for being able to get Zivon this pissed, and he wasn’t about to hold back now!
“Oh? And what if I do? Xavia’s not only beautiful, but she’s also incredibly kind! Few women possess those qualities! With that said, it makes me wonder why you think you deserve her! Sure, you’re rich and famous, but that’s about it! You’re an icy man with anger issues, and you even raped her back then! Hell, had that incident not happened back then, that perfect woman would have probably never looked at you in the first place!”
Ian was clearly using all of Hershel’s previous insults and adapting them to fit Zivon’s case! After staring at Ian in awe, Jovan was quick to add, “Y-yeah! So what if you’re handsome and rich? True value doesn’t lie in money!”
Naturally, Zivon’s fury skyrocketed after hearing all that! Not even the president dared to yell at him like that…! It took him a while, but he eventually growled, “…If you’re just hoping to piss me off, then I suppose there’s nothing more to talk about…!”
Though it was true that Ian wanted Zivon to feel enraged, he didn’t want to push it to the point where he’d retaliate. With that, Ian replied, “If you’re angry from this alone, it makes me wonder how Xavia felt when your father yelled the same things to her!”
Watching as Zivon stopped in his tracks, Ian added, “Even though she loves you wholeheartedly, your father dismissed her as nothing more than a worm that yearned for things she didn’t deserve! If you can’t even protect her from insults, why even bother being her lover?!”
