Quickly wiggling out of Zivon’s grasp, Xavia grumbled, “L-let go already…! Even if you have no shame, I do! How am I expected to show my face outside if word about this gets out…?!”

“Don’t worry, they’ve been trained to keep their lips sealed,” replied Zivon as he lifted her over to the bed.

Now that she was no longer mad, the burden on his back was close to non-existent… and after staring into her lovely eyes for a while, he gently asked, “Well, now that you’re no longer mad, can I continue with the wedding preparations…?”

After she nodded in response, Zivon couldn’t help but gently pinch her cheek while saying, “You know, you’re still being awfully childish for someone your age… Willing to do anything when you’re happy, and throwing tantrums when you’re displeased…”

Sadly, Xavia knew that she was very guilty of that… She also knew that adults were supposed to be calm and composed at all times…

With that in mind, she was about to reply when Zivon added, “I like that part of you… Very much. With that said, you’re free to continue being the childish princess that I know you are… As long as I don’t die of anger first, I’ll make sure to spoil you to bits…”

…The fact that he could still say that despite knowing about her emotional meltdowns was a clear sign that he truly loved her…

“…Hey, aren’t you ignoring the fact that you provoked me first? Can you really call me unreasonable for that?”

Chuckling in response, Zivon replied, “Fine, fine, it’s my fault… I’m the child and only you know best…”
