Was he with another woman? Or was he part of a social gathering that required him to do something unspeakable? The more she thought, the more anxious she became… and finally, she found herself standing before the room she was looking for.
Taking a deep breath, she then pushed the private room’s door open… and seconds later, she was left speechless. After all, there weren’t any women there at all… Instead, it was just Zivon, Chace, and Zayne sitting in that smoke-filled room! Zivon himself looked particularly icy, and she could see that his bottom lip was bruised…
Before she could say a word, Zivon raised a brow and asked, “…What are you doing here?”
Breathing a subtle sigh of relief when he realized who was accompanying Zivon, Nathan replied, “…She was worried about you, and she said that she needed to meet you no matter what… Because of that, I brought her to the villa… and since you weren’t around, she eventually made her way here…”
…Which meant that it was clear that he had been lying, huh? It took him a while, but he eventually put his cigarette out before walking up to the woman who was still in her pajamas…
After staring at her confused face for a while, he was prompted to ask, “…Were you hoping to catch me cheating on you?”
…Was it that evident? But she couldn’t just say that! With that in mind, she awkwardly averted her gaze while muttering, “I-I was just curious why you lied to me…”
Choosing not to push any further, Zivon sighed before taking her hand and turning to look at his friends as he said, “We’ll be heading home first. Let’s continue chatting another day…”
“Hmm? Why don’t you explain why you had to lie to her? After all, we were just here…” replied the grinning Zayne in a slightly suggestive tone.
Instantly going redder, Xavia then tugged Zivon’s hand while saying, “L-let’s just go already…”
Amused by how embarrassed she was, Zivon simply did as he was told. However, upon realizing what she was wearing, he decided to lift her in his arms before carrying her over to the elevator…
