Zivon locked his deep gaze on her for five seconds before he suppressed his emotions and raised his lips, “What am I to you?”
Ahh?
What did he mean by that?
Xavia was confused and puzzled.
The thin red lips of the man beneath her slowly opened up as he said word for word, “After invading, stirring my world up and turning it into a frenzy, you simply retreated. You are also dating my friend and you are always showing off your love and affection toward him in front of me time and again.”
“Xavia Lockhart, what exactly do I mean to you?”
It was a question.
It was a criticism.
It was enigmatical and also filled with anger.
Xavia was dumbfounded.
What did he mean to her?
He was Maison’s father and her elder sister’s fiancé! When had she ever stirred up his world? She was in a relationship with Stefan so it was only normal for her to be intimate with him. How did she show off her love and affection for Stefan in front of him?
But Xavia could not say a word when she was looking into his dark and dangerous eyes that were as deep as the vast blue ocean. What was going on?
When Zivon saw that she wasn’t saying anything, he pulled her down again and her soft body was leaning against his firm chest.
He gazed at her as he asked in a flat and condescending manner, “Do you want to know what you mean to me?”
What she meant to him?
Wasn’t she Jenna’s younger sister?
Xavia didn’t know, and she didn’t want to know!
“You’re a brother-in-law to me and I am your younger sister.”
After saying those words in a state of panic, Xavia struggled violently against him and quickly ran away.
This was a question that made people feel anxious. It seemed as though avoidance was the best way to go.
The night became darker.
It was bound to be a sleepless night.
The next morning.
Xavia had no choice but to return to the ward because Yulia had to undergo a routine checkup every morning.
Zivon was no longer in the room, and it seemed as though he had never been there. However, the words that he said last night were still lingering in her ears and she felt a trace of anxiety in her heart.
