Pregnant and Favored: See You in the Morning, Young Master novel Chapter 1462

Shortly after they had entered the car, she heard Zivon ask, “Did you have an argument with Fiona? She’s a delicate woman, so try your best to tolerate her temper… Make sure not to succumb to the same level as her either.”

This made Xavia’s heart sink. After all, Fiona had been the one who had started it! Was she just expected to tolerate that woman’s sass? Slightly annoyed, Xavia replied, “…What did she tell you? That I made things difficult for her? Do you seriously buy that?”

Turning to look at her, Zivon then placed his hand over hers while saying, “You know I don’t mean it like that… It’s just better to avoid trouble, you know? Don’t make life difficult for yourself just because someone wants you unhappy…”

Though Xavia really wanted that as well, she couldn’t help but reply, “…But she was actively trying to piss me off…”

Patting her hand, Zivon then said, “Alright, alright, she’s the wrong one… Don’t be mad, alright?”

“That’s not what you said moments ago. To you, I should just continue tolerating her and not take any of it to heart, right? Have you not considered that I’m a victim in this too? Why should she be allowed to have her way?” grumbled Xavia as she recalled the moment when Fiona had held out that set of sujeo to her.

Had she not stood up for herself back then, she would’ve surely been thoroughly embarrassed… But what was his response? To just endure that bitch? Getting angrier just from thinking about it, Xavia unbuckled her seatbelt while scoffing, “I’m getting off here. Stop the car!”

Instantly reminded of how she had attempted to just leap out of the car back then, Zivon narrowed his eyes and grabbed her by the wrist while growling, “Stop messing around. I can’t stop the car in the middle of the road.”

Who the hell was messing around? She just wanted some time away from him! Returning to her initial position, Xavia then replied, “Fine. Stop the car at the next intersection, then.”
