By the time they arrived at the campsite, Yulia was already trembling, a thin layer of frost on her head. After stopping the snowmobile, the guard was prompted to say, “We’re here… Hold on, let me get you something warm to drink… Here. Now stay here for a while. I’ll head inside to see if Young Master Burton is around.”

“Got it… T-thank you Uncle…” stuttered the shivering girl as she began sipping on the warm water from the man’s thermos.

It was a while later when she saw two faint figures walking toward her. Since it was snowing rather heavily, Yulia couldn’t really make out who they were… but from what she could tell, there was an adult and a child…!

Figuring that they were Zivon and Maison, the excited girl immediately hopped off the vehicle and began running toward them while exclaiming, “U-Uncle Zivon…! Brother Maison…!”

However, she hadn’t made it past a few steps… When all of a sudden, she felt a heavy blow against the back of her head!

Watching as the girl flopped to the ground from the impact of the wooden stick, Sophia then gritted her teeth before quickly dragging Yulia to the back of the woods… Once that was done, she gloomily began cleaning up her tracks in the snow…

Sophia, for one, had already been suspicious when the guard ended his call early… And when he mentioned the lack of internet connection, she no longer had doubts that something was off. After all, there weren’t any plans for reception up here! With that in mind, she had waited outside to see what would happen… and she was thankful that she did!

“You truly are as much of a hassle to deal with as your mother…!” grumbled Sophia as she gave Yulia a swift kick to the stomach!

Realizing that Zivon was getting closer by the second, Sophia quickly ran back into the house… and the second she saw the guard, she was prompted to growl, “How could you be stupid enough to lead her up here? That child was clearly just hoping that she could use you to help her mother reunite with Young Master Burton!”

“Look, in case you haven’t heard, that child’s already been here with her mother before, and the previous guard she convinced ended up calling Young Master Burton’s personal number! That ultimately resulted in Young Master Burton getting enraged, and the guard was promptly fired! If you need proof, just check the footage in the surveillance room!”
